Would you like to know your mobile phone origin? Whether it is clone or not??? I received this tip early morning and checked my phone. Definitely not low quality or dangerous to my health ! Let's try it you guys....BTW, my phone born in Finland..
1. Press the following on your mobile *#06#
2. The international mobile equipment identity number will appears.
3. Then, check the 7th and 8th number (There are suppose to be 15 numbers)

4. If the 7th and 8th digits are
- 02 or 20 : Your phone was assembled in China which is low quality
- 08 or 80 : Your phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality
- 01 or 10 : Your phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good
- 00 : Your phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best mobile quality
- 13 : This means your phone was assembled in 'black market' which is very bad quality and very dangerous to your health
Am not very sure whether this tip can be applied to phone without the sim card..
But If it can, you can check your phone origin right from when you shop for it!

My mobile phone's 7th and 8th IMEI number is 02, ya it was assembled in China. Sony E leh! Already stated / written at the back of the phone. Never mind, as long its not dangerous. The earlier it get spoil, the faster i can force myself to get a NEW one.
